Get to know our Board of Directors!

Tracy Collander, LCSW has over 20 years of administrative experience in a variety of behavioral health care settings such as inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment programs, child welfare, and addiction treatment settings with services to youth with behavioral and emotional disorders as well as individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. She was the executive director for The Center for Family Services from 2000 – 2007, and since then has been in leadership roles for Gateway Foundation, The Joint Commission, and AMITA Heath. Tracy is currently the Practice Operations Director for Linden Oaks Medical Group based in Naperville, Illinois where she oversees the operations for a team of physicians, advanced practice professionals, and clinical therapists.

Dr. Martha Jarmuz is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has over 25 years of experience in mental health and multi-state non-profit work. She has provided leadership in community mental health and systems of care settings, and has extensive experience with grant writing and clinical program design and implementation. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor with a focus on counseling and psychology. Martha also maintains a private counseling practice and provides clinical supervision and consultation services.

Dr. Althia Gayle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who operates her own private practice and holds licenses in multiple states. She also serves as the School Social Work Program Coordinator and an Assistant Professor, focusing on Child Welfare and School Social Work. Before entering academia, Althia worked as a School Social Worker for nine years and gained experience in the non-profit sector, assisting at-risk youth. She is passionate about being an effective servant leader, advocating for youth in urban educational settings, and inspiring other compassionate leaders in social and emotional well-being as well as social justice efforts.

Kelly is the Vice President of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at the Chicago Urban League, where she leads strategy and programming to support small business growth and community impact. She works closely with municipal leaders to ensure businesses integrate successfully into the communities they serve. Formerly the National Director of Community Integration and Workforce Development at Cresco Labs, Kelly developed national social equity, justice, and workforce initiatives in partnership with nonprofits, educators, and local businesses. She also served as Chief of Staff to former Illinois State Senator Toi Hutchinson, managing legislative outreach and community engagement. As Director of Economic and Community Development for the Village of University Park, she supported Fortune 500 partnerships and local business development. Kelly holds a BA in English from Knox College and an MS in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. She believes the intersection of education, business, and government drives lasting community change.
