Mental Health & Wellness

On Our Sleeves – Mental Health Resources for Kids On Our Sleeves is a national movement to break mental health stigma for children. Backed by Nationwide Children’s Hospital, it provides mental wellness tools, activities, and conversation starters designed for children and the adults who support them. Resources help kids process big feelings, build routines, and express themselves in healthy ways. https://www.onoursleeves.org/
Teen Line – Peer Support by Teens, for Teens Teen Line is a helpline where teenagers can talk, text, or email with trained teen listeners. It offers a safe space to talk about family problems, stress, identity, or experiences in foster care. The goal is to make sure no teen ever feels alone in what they’re going through. https://www.teenline.org/
FosterClub – Peer Support and Resources for Youth in Foster Care FosterClub is a national network for teens and young adults with lived experience in foster care. It offers a safe space to connect with peers, share stories, and access resources on identity, trauma, mental health, and self-advocacy. Youth can explore articles, videos, and blogs created by and for foster youth, helping them feel seen and supported throughout their journey. https://www.fosterclub.com/
Youth.gov – Mental Health for Youth in Foster Care Youth.gov offers information to help young people in foster care understand mental health challenges, seek support, and practice emotional wellness. National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) – Youth & Young Adult Resources The NCTSN provides trauma-informed resources directly for youth and young adults. Designed in age-appropriate language, this collection helps youth understand their emotions, process trauma, and build resilience. Crisis Text Line – 24/7 Emotional Support via Text Crisis Text Line provides free, confidential support to youth in crisis. Teens can text HOME to 741741 to connect with a trained volunteer who will listen and help them feel safe. The service is always available, offering help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges. https://www.crisistextline.org/
Kelty Mental Health – Mental Health Tools for Kids and Teens This interactive site offers mental health education and support for young people. It includes articles, videos, quizzes, and self-help tools focused on anxiety, depression, relationships, and resilience.
