Therapy Services
At the Center for Family Services, we provide specialized therapy services for youth and families who have been impacted by foster care. Whether facing the effects of trauma, grief, attachment disruptions, or transitions in care, our therapeutic support is designed to meet the complex emotional needs that can arise from the foster care experience.
Our therapist offers both individual therapy for youth and family therapy, with a focus on building resilience, strengthening relationships, and supporting long-term healing.
Our therapy services are grounded in trauma-informed care and tailored to the unique experiences of each child and family. Through regular sessions, our therapist works to:
- Help youth process trauma, loss, and changes in placement
- Support emotional regulation and healthy coping strategies
- Improve communication between caregivers and children
- Strengthen attachment and rebuild trust within the family unit
- Address behavioral challenges in a supportive, nonjudgmental setting
We understand that every foster care journey is different, and that healing takes time. Whether you're a caregiver, biological family member, or youth in care, we’re here to offer steady, compassionate support through every step of the process.
