Foster Parent Support

At the Center for Family Services, we recognize that foster parenting is both deeply rewarding and uniquely challenging. To support caregivers in this important role, we offer the guidance of a dedicated Foster Parent Support Specialist who provides an added layer of advocacy and encouragement. The Foster Parent Support Specialist works closely with foster parents to help them navigate the emotional, behavioral, and day-to-day challenges that come with caring for children in foster care. Our goal is to empower caregivers so they feel confident, capable, and supported in building safe, nurturing homes.
  • Through one-on-one support, the Foster Parent Support Specialist helps caregivers:
  •
  •
  • Strengthen communication with children and care teams
  • Build trusting, nurturing relationships
  • Use safe, effective discipline strategies
  • Manage stress and avoid caregiver burnout
  • Feel supported, informed, and connected throughout their journey
  • When foster parents are empowered, children have a greater chance to heal and thrive. At the Center for Family Services, we’re here to walk beside you—every step of the way.
